‘Tis the Season Edition

1. Do you travel for the holidays? No
2. Are the holidays more geared to the kids in your family, or the whole family? I would say whole family, except for my husband. He does't much like Christmas. Says it is too commercialized and can't wait until it's over.
3. Do you have any special traditions for this time of year? Put up decorations on Thanksgiving, hang Santa's key by the front door so he can come in because we don't have a chimney, and get out all the decorations and ornaments that the kids made since they were toddlers. It's so fun to remember when they made them, or look at the picture ornaments they made and see how much they grow. Combining them with the newer decorations is great. We always open gifts here on Christmas morning and then go to my parent's house.

Friday Free Time

This week is all about our free time and what we do with it. Sometimes what sounds fun and relaxing to one person sounds like pure hell to another. This is also assuming that you have free time.

1. It is a cold, rainy afternoon and you have no plans for the day. What do you do? In my dream world, I cuddle on the couch with my hubby in my pjs, or stay in bed, but in reality, probably if I didn't have to go anywhere, I would stay in my pjs and watch cartoons with the baby, lol or read a book. If everyone is home, maybe play a board game.
2. It is a hot day in the middle of the summer and no responsibilities. What do you do? Sit in side with my AC. I don't like summer. Don't go out unless I have to. Again, probably watch tv or read a book. Get on the computer of course if possible or maybe do some scrapbooking. If the kids aren't at the pool, we could play a game.
3. It’s Saturday morning, and you have no agenda. What do you do? Hit the garage sales if at all possible. Otherwise, sit in my pjs. I do that as much as I can, lol. Did I hear lazy? Also, get on the computer of course if possible or maybe do some scrapbooking.
4. It is a beautiful winter day and you have nothing to do. What do you do? Play outside with the kids, play a game with the kids & drink hot cocoa, watch a movie or read a book. Again, get on the computer of course if possible or maybe do some scrapbooking.
5. You are sitting in front of your computer, and nothing to do but play. What do you do online? Blog hop, draw some graphics, redecorate my sites, surf the net.
6. You have a whole afternoon with no plans, and you feel like doing something creative. What do you do? A hobby? Hmm, scrapbook, draw graphics, work on my book or play a game with the kids.
7. You have $500 burning a hole in your pocket and no bills to pay and nothing to do. What do you do with it? Ooh, shop!!! I was Born to shop.
8. Work is done for the day and the evening is yours. What do you do? Read a book, watch a movie, take a walk, ride my bike, play a game with the kids, get on the computer of course if possible or maybe do some scrapbooking.

Most of this happens only in my dreams, lol.
