Have you ever
gotten a phone call and before they said anything, you knew that
it wasn't good news? That's what happened at our house today. My
husband's twin boys were in a car accident along with two other
boys. One died, along with one friend. He's been at the hopsital
since. I went to the hospital for a little while with the baby,
but she didn't want to sit still, so I came home. Hubby came home
for a few minutes and said he was staying at the hospital with
his other son for the night. The boys just graduated from High
School on Mother's Day. The one that passed away joined the Army
Reserves and was going to start college. He was too young - had
his whole life ahead of him. It's not fair.
"God has a plan for everyone. We just don't always know
what it is." That's what hubby's ex-wife said at the
hospital. I told her and their daughter that if they need
anything, please call. I'll do anything I can to help. He loves
those kids so much and it kills me to see him go through this
pain. I am just standing back in case he needs me, but trying to
stay out of the way. So many things go through my head. How
unfair this is - such young men. How the families are suffering
so. The last time we saw them on Mother's Day at their
Graduation. That my baby won't ever know her big brother. That my
husband will always have a whole in his heart and no one can make
it better. God I can't stop crying. I hate that he's not here. I
want to hold him and take all his pain away. I still don't know
all the details. At the hospital I heard bits and pieces. He
called me at Noon and told me that he would be at the hospital
still for a while because his son was going into surgery. At
three he called and asked me to come and bring his insulin. My
MIL told me that tons of the kids friends came to the hospital
and that they are going to have counselors available to them.
They were very popular.
I better try to
get to bed. My son has a field trip and I have to drive him to
the school at 6:30 am - I have to get all this kids up to get
ready by 5:30 am. I wish you all a good week. I miss visiting -
probably won't be able to for a while.

I'm
still here. We are on our second child with the flu. It's the
baby this time. Adelina had it Friday through Saturday, so
hopefully Ariana has it only 24 hours as well. It's been busy
around here. I hope to be back soon.

Hello! Thanks to Kris whoe gave me another sigtag. I love it - you can
see it below. Isn't it great? Happy May Day a little late as
well.
I can't believe it's Wednesday already. Time just flies by. I
have not had computer time at all and I hate it! I need to figure
out how to squeeze it in. I am still smoke free! WOOHOO!! Rob,
Ariana and I went to some garage sales here over the weekend. I
found lots of great books for the kids, a few clothing items, a
board game and it was really fun. Oh and a loaf of zucchini bread
- one of the neighbors had a little bake sale. Yummy!
It's May and school will be out the 24th. I have to work out a
schedule for the summer so the kids and I don't drive one another
crazy, plus I need to have some me time - for relaxing a bit and
being on the computer. I have some ideas. I have printed off some
activities for us all to do, word searches, coloring pages, math
pages, etc. I have some fun outside ideas as well. I have to keep
everyone busy or I will be a grumpy mom. They always get so bored
in the summer - they say there's nothing to do, my friends are
all on trips, they aren't home, I want to go here, I want to go
there. They will spend a lot of afternoons at the pool but our
pool is only open 1-5 pm. We are working on our yard too. Ughh -
Ariana is getting into everything. I better go. Tomorrow I plan
to visit everyone. Have a wonderful day!
